Let's Explore

the fundraising universe

Inverse have developed a deep network that permeates the fabric of high growth funding. Up to 27% of the known universe is suspected Dark Matter. Something we cannot see, we cannot observe, but we know it is there. In fundraising, we believe that the same principles exist. The tangible presentation of your business is weighted by the unknown. Why do investors invest? It is a gut feeling, an intuition. At Inverse, we study the unknown and ensure that you are 100% ready for whatever route we take.

Frequency Asked Questions

Depending on the stage of your business it can take up to 8 months to raise funding. Accessing capital is not an over night solution to solve a liquidity problem. Fundraising should only be raised into stable companies that are looking to scale and grow over a period of time EG 3 or 5 years.

Inverse prefer to work on a flat fee model. Success fees can scale rather quickly and often cause problems as investors do not want to pay large fees. We do not consider ourselves to be ‘investment brokers’, we have perfected the science of preparing a business to take on investment and this process is the same regardless of the documents already in place.

An angel investor (also known as a private investor, seed investor or angel funder) is a high-net-worth individual who provides financial backing for small startups or entrepreneurs, typically in exchange for ownership equity in the company. Often, angel investors are found among an entrepreneur’s family and friends.

Venture capital is a form of private equity financing that is provided by venture capital firms or funds to startups, early-stage, and emerging companies that have been deemed to have high growth potential or which have demonstrated high growth.

Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet. Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and alternative finance.

Grant are funds given by an entity – frequently, a public body, charitable foundation, or a specialised grant-making institution – to an individual or another entity for a specific purpose linked to public benefit. Unlike loans, grants are not to be paid back.

Inverse is not a source of capital. We are currently building the worlds first appreciating investment product, however, at present we raise funding through our extensive partnership networks.
